Movies These Guelph Realtors Love

Movies are magical.  They Bring us together in so many ways.  They make us laugh, cry, be scared, be hopeful.  There are those we relate to and those that we are amazed by.  The common factor is everyone loves a movie.  I decided to write this blog because I was remembering a tonne of movies that I've loved over the years.  The ones that are equated to a Generation. John Hughes is someone that if you grew up in the 80's you would equate to 80's teenage drama.  One of his movies made our team's list!  Movies like The Breakfast Club,Pretty In Pink,Sixteen Candles,Uncle Buck,Ferris Bueller, andHome Alone; honestly it's kind of unbelievable that one human could have produced this many stories, but then you can.  There are the likes ofStephen Spielberg and the stories ofStephen King and countless other amazing contributors.  From the authors of books to those who know they will make an unbelievable screenplay and for the directors and producers and just the thousands of people it takes to produce some of our most amazing movies.  People's imaginations and visions are truly remarkable and the fact that they can bring them to life on a big screen and now mostly the little screens we carry everywhere we go.

It's fascinating to see the influence on our culture, our fashion, and even sometimes our mannerisms when people feel so compelled and drawn to a movie.  This yearBarbie the movie not only had a direct impact in educating the masses on Women's Rights, Patriarchal Systemic Issues, and Inequality, but it also had a direct impact on the actual economy.

I can write you lists of movies I love.  The John Hughes list above is just a few of my favorites.  I thought if we gave you our Top Movie choices maybe you'd like to watch them and let us know what you think.  Make it a date night and go and visit one of our Top 10 choices for restaurants in Guelph, get some takeout, or come home after and let us know what you think.  Maybe you already love these movies, and that's the case we'd love to hear what other movies you might think we'd like or anyone reading this might like to watch.
